Miexqui (MH544v)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Miexqui (“Gassy Person,” attested here as a man’s name) shows a profile view of the lower half of a man's body with gasses emitting from the buttocks. The gasses are shown with volutes and straight lines. The waistband and bottom wrap of a loan cloth is visible on the person.
Stephanie Wood
The two different types of emissions from the man's rear end may represent visual representations of both odors and sounds. There is a potential for this to be a humorous nickname.
