Tecpatzinco (Mdz24v)
This compound glyph for the place name Tecpatzinco has two key elements sitting atop a mountain or hill (tepetl), the latter seeming mainly to provide a locative. On the right is an upright, pointed flint knife (tecpatl), red at the top and white at the bottom. The two colors separate diagonally. To the left of the knife is the lower portion of a male, terracotta-colored human body, in profile, facing to the viewer's right, and emphasizing the rear end or buttocks (tzintli). We know this person is male, because the white belt of the loincloth is visible.
