This simplex glyph doubles as the place name Toztlan and serves here for the word toztli, an Amazon yellow parrot. The bird is shown in profile, facing to the viewer's right. It has its wings raised as though in flight or about to fly. It is drawn in black ink and painted entirely in yellow.
