Onenepanco (MH613v)

This compound glyph for the place name Onenepanco ("At the Intersection of Roads") shows two glyphs for roads (otli, providing the start to the place name, O-) that come together in a V-shape (nenepanoa, to intersect, providing the second part of the place name. These roads sit atop a building in profile, facing toward the viewer's right. It has T-shaped red beams and an adobe brick foundation. This could be a semantic representation of a place, with -co being the locative suffix that says "in" or "at". The gloss informs the reader that this is a barrio (of Huejotzingo). The reduplication in the term nenepanoa relates to the fact that there are two parts coming together. Nepan also gives the sense of two things interrelated.
